Case Study: Servexa, a Local Services Marketplace App
Servexa connects customers with local service providers such as electricians, plumbers and labourers. A customer posts a job, nearby providers send offers, and the customer hires with one tap and tracks the provider live on a map. BoohaWeb built the full platform: the Flutter mobile app, the Firebase backend and a web admin dashboard.
The Challenge
Finding a reliable tradesman quickly is hard, and pricing is rarely clear up front. Servexa needed two experiences in one app, one for customers and one for providers. It also needed fair pricing, real-time updates and support for users in several languages.
What We Built
- Two app modes: customers get services, and providers get a separate dashboard to find work, message clients and manage jobs.
- Live job offers: a new job notifies providers in the same area, who can accept the job at the customer's price or offer a different one.
- Live tracking: once a provider is hired, the customer sees them on a map with an ETA.
- Chat, bookings and reviews with push notifications at every step.
- Provider order packs sold through Google Play Billing and enforced on the server by Cloud Functions.
- English, Urdu and Arabic, with right-to-left layouts.
- Admin web dashboard for managing users, providers and bookings.
Tech Stack
Flutter + Riverpod, Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Storage, Cloud Messaging, Hosting), Google Maps, Google Play Billing.
The Result
The platform has been tested end to end on real devices, covering job posting, offers, hiring, live tracking, payment and reviews. The admin dashboard is deployed. It shows what we deliver for marketplace and on-demand businesses: a complete, production-grade system, not just screens.
